My Breast Friend at Bed Supperclub

My Breast Friend is the brainchild of Wimintra (Wim) Jangnin, the spirited breast cancer activist who believes in saving the world ‘one breast at a time’. The inspiring event is noteworthy not only because it combines the love of high heels, jewellery and cupcakes in the name of breast cancer awareness, but also because of the young people behind it all, primarily Wim who is only 24 years old.
Opening the event was ‘Man of Words’ M Kj Miner, who gave us a live rendition of his poem that was specially written for the cause: ‘The Blessed World of Breasts’. His humorous storytelling and rhyming abilities made us laugh, but the poem did not deter from the seriousness of breast cancer and served as a friendly warning for all females to get tested.
We were then treated to a fashion show that showcased Nan Naritsara’s gorgeous high heels from her Naritsara Fashion Club collection. The models were adorned with jewellery by Iveline Gems & Jewelry, who created specially designed pieces with the My Breast Friend logo.
The night would not have been complete without Elisa Wong’s mouth-watering ‘My Breast Friend’ cupcakes topped with an edible pink ribbon, the symbol for breast cancer.
That evening, more than 60,000 baht was raised from cash donations and sales of ‘My Breast Friend’ T-shirts, Iveline jewellery, Naritsara’s heels and Elisa’s cupcakes.
